What you will do

• Collaborate daily with global co-development teams to align creative direction and provide clear visual briefs.
• Direct and guide external lighting teams to deliver high-quality, on-spec work for levels and cinematics.
• Work alongside engine, graphics, and tools teams to design and implement efficient lighting workflows and techniques.
• Review maps to identify high-impact areas for lighting improvements and ensure franchise-consistent quality.
• Support and mentor internal team members to enhance technical and creative capabilities.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Lead Lighters, and Level Designers to balance visual goals with gameplay and performance requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping AAA titles on current generation consoles.
• Excellent knowledge of lighting, shading, and PBR for real-time applications.
• Strong artistic eye with a deep understanding of lighting fundamentals, color theory, and photography.
• Proven experience collaborating with external or co-development teams.
• Deep understanding of technical constraints in real-time rendering engines and multiplayer game optimization.
• Proficiency in HDR color grading and lighting reference capture workflows (HDRI).

Nice to have

• Experience leading a small team or strong interest in leadership roles.
• Proficiency with image editing or mastering software such as Photoshop or Nuke.
