• Research and develop innovative new solutions to shape the future direction of hirify.global.
• Work within a scrum team in an agile development environment.
• Maintain and design code running on mainframe products that meet functional and business requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and test plan reviews.
• Develop automated test scripts to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• Prior experience as a mainframe software developer.
• Expertise in IBM Assembler on z/OS and z/OS Language Environment (LE).
• Experience with ASM and Python.
• Expertise with unit testing frameworks.

Nice to have

• Experience working in mainframe environments such as zOS, TSO, and JCL.
• Experience with mainframe programming languages such as Assembler, C, C++, Metal cL, COBOL, and REXX.
