Business Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Business Analyst (Fintech): Collecting and analyzing requirements from business stakeholders and related teams, defining changes in MDM systems, and overseeing their implementation with an accent on personal data handling, KYC/KYB processes, and data quality. Focus on defining deduplication, merge, identification, and version management rules.

Location: Flexible work from one of our offices or remote worldwide. Relocation support to Serbia, Cyprus or Mexico with assistance for the employee and their family

What you will do

• Collect and analyze requirements from business stakeholders and related teams, define changes in MDM systems, and oversee their implementation.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams and business units.
• Analyze current business processes for handling personal data (collection, validation, normalization, deduplication, addresses, documents, etc.).
• Participate in defining deduplication, merge, identification, and version management rules.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, investigate the root causes of anomalies and discrepancies.
• Prepare documentation and artifacts (BPMN, UML, Data Flow diagrams, etc.).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or product management within fintech or banking.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is mandatory.
• Experience in collecting and documenting business requirements.
• Experience working with personal data, KYC/KYB processes, or MDM systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and systems thinking skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI tools (Superset, Tableau).
• Understanding of how APIs and Kafka (or similar tools) work.
• Experience participating in MDM system migration or integration.
