What you will do
- Provide legal and regulatory support to local business teams in Korea.
- Identify regulatory and legal risks and propose solutions.
- Monitor and interpret Korean laws and regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of local legal and compliance programs.
- Support internal stakeholders in regulatory filings and licensing in Korea.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in regulatory legal roles, preferably within the payments, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
- Experience in legal and regulatory practices relevant to Korean financial regulations.
- In-house legal experience within Financial Services, Fintech, Technology, or related regulated industries is highly preferred.
- Strong expertise in Korean regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to provide pragmatic legal advice balancing regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Proven track record of working independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
