What you will do

• Define and evolve the long-term vision for Blink’s application platform, translating product ambitions into a clear technical roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team.
• Own key infrastructure components, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Partner closely with DevOps, Product, and peer engineering teams to ensure the platform scales gracefully.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and innovation.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• 4+ years of experience as a Software or Platform Engineer.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Deep understanding of modern cloud-native architecture (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, microservices).
• Hands-on experience with backend development (Go preferred, Python, Java or C#).
• Expertise in operating high-scale SaaS systems on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proven track record of building secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience in a high-scale SaaS environment.
