What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term technical roadmap to ensure platform scalability.
• Direct and mentor Engineering Managers and Team Leads to foster professional growth.
• Enforce global engineering standards, documentation practices, and KPIs.
• Optimize SDLC and Agile processes to eliminate bottlenecks and manage resource allocation.
• Lead global hiring strategies to attract top-tier technical talent.
• Act as the primary technical interface for executive leadership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in backend development with 5+ years in high-level leadership roles.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Extensive experience with high-load, distributed systems, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Deep expertise in SQL/NoSQL databases, message brokers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Lisbon (relocation support provided).
