What you will do

• Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure for data lakes and analytics platforms using Terraform.
• Implement identity management, network security, and data governance controls like Unity Catalog.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and data product provisioning.
• Establish observability for cost, performance, and resource utilization of data workloads.
• Create self-service infrastructure patterns to enable data engineers to deploy pipelines independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional cloud engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (VPC, Private Link) and security (IAM, RBAC, Encryption).
• Experience with or strong interest in Databricks and modern data patterns.

Nice to have

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification.
• Experience with cloud-native data services such as AWS Glue, Kinesis, EMR, or Azure Data Factory.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect certifications.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
