What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend components using Rust for the hirify.global Elements platform.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design scalable, distributed system solutions.
• Drive improvements in product quality, security, and performance through rigorous testing and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, infrastructure, and frontend engineering.
• Implement privacy-by-design and security-first principles in all service development.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation to guide team development and architectural alignment.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in backend development with a focus on Rust.
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js is required.
• Strong background in cloud computing, specifically AWS.
• Experience designing and implementing distributed systems using modern design patterns.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous cryptography and secure data exchange protocols.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model based in Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Experience with Dart programming language.
• Expertise in decentralized identity solutions and verifiable credentials.
• Knowledge of C4 modeling and ADRs for technical documentation.
