What you will do

• Contribute to AI/ML capabilities that enhance personalization within the hirify.global Mail ecosystem.
• Build scalable, robust backend solutions using modern frameworks and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to integrate backend services.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability for high-traffic environments.
• Implement graceful failure recovery mechanisms and manage technical tradeoffs.
• Utilize AI development tools to accelerate development and ensure high code quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Must have legal right to work in Ireland at the time of application.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or similar OOP languages.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, OS, and Networking.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Nice to have

• Prior experience with email systems or large-scale messaging infrastructure.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science.
