What you will do

  • Analyze and respond to subpoenas, search warrants, and emergency disclosure requests within strict SLAs.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse teams and law enforcement agencies in English and Japanese.
  • Monitor legal inboxes and manage incoming inquiries with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Trust & Safety, legal, and privacy teams to improve response workflows and standards.
  • Maintain user information privacy and security in accordance with legal and internal policy requirements.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Japanese (written and spoken) required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in legal operations, content moderation, or high-volume customer support dealing with escalations.
  • Experience with legal documents such as subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants.
  • Ability to process sensitive and potentially disturbing content including graphic images or derogatory language.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for time-sensitive exigent cases.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in Korean or Mandarin Chinese.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or formal law office experience.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Kodex or Jira.
