Salary: $210,000 – $295,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Lead critical infrastructure initiatives to accelerate engineering delivery and platform scalability.
• Define and enforce architectural standards, security compliance (SOC 2, HIPAA), and quality bars.
• Design AI-enabled systems and platforms that support new product delivery capabilities.
• Partner with executives to shape technical and AI infrastructure strategy.
• Mentor senior engineers and tech leads to foster technical growth and force multiplication.
• Remain hands-on with incident response, architecture reviews, and high-stakes engineering decisions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience building complex cloud solutions on AWS.
• Must be authorized to work in and based in the United States.
• Deep proficiency in Terraform and AWS service provisioning.
• Experience with observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus) and SQL/NoSQL data systems.
• Proven background in security-heavy environments with regulatory compliance (SOC 2, PCI-DSS).
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into business impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL database APIs and Postgres performance optimization.
• Prior involvement in AI implementation or providing AI tools for internal engineering use.
• Expertise in security audit design.
