It Applications Engineer

TL;DR

IT Applications Engineer: Responsible for the administration, support, and continuous improvement of key enterprise tools used by engineering and CI/CD teams with an accent on the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), JFrog Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault. Focus on running and maintaining databases and applications in AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and scripting and automation.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Experience running and maintaining databases and applications in AWS.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Adaptable and eager to take on diverse technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
