TL;DR
Lead CX/UX Designer (AI): Leading the design direction for a Dutch Tax & Accounting product line across multiple products with an accent on portfolio strategy, user research, service design, and team leadership. Focus on designing AI-enabled and agentic experiences, integrating prompt design and LLM orchestration, and ensuring accessibility, usability, technical feasibility, and responsible AI evaluation.

What you will do
- Own the design direction across multiple products within the Dutch Tax & Accounting portfolio.
- Align user needs, business priorities, AI and technology capabilities, and regulatory constraints into cohesive experience strategies.
- Lead research strategy and collaborate on studies for accountants, SMEs, advisors, and other user groups.
- Guide and develop a team of 4–5 designers through daily direction, coaching, and feedback.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Design, and research teams as the primary UX liaison.
- Lead the integration and evaluation of AI-powered experiences, prompt design, LLM orchestration, accessibility, and responsible design practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, preferably in complex B2B software environments.
- Proven experience leading design across multiple products or a product line.
- Experience managing designers as direct reports.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Product, Lean UX, design systems, scalable UX patterns, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience synthesizing qualitative research and quantitative analytics in cross-functional Agile teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, familiarity with AI-enabled interfaces and evaluation frameworks, and understanding of HTML5/CSS3 fundamentals.
Nice to have
- Experience in Tax & Accounting or another regulated industry.
- Experience with service design methods, including ecosystem mapping and end-to-end journey modeling.
