Job Description:
We are looking for a talented SEO Editor to join our marketing team. This role is a unique blend of a creative writer and a proactive outreach specialist. You will be responsible for crafting high-quality, original content that ranks well in search engines, and for building relationships to secure valuable backlinks. Responsibilities:Original Content Creation: Research, write, and publish unique, high-quality articles that align with our SEO and content strategy. Optimize all content for search engines, including strategic keyword placement, internal linking, and proper use of header tags (H1, H2), without compromising readability. Translate complex industry topics into engaging, valuable content for our target audience. Link Building & Outreach: Independently identify and prospect high-quality link-building opportunities (blogs, industry directories, relevant forums, and news sites). Conduct outreach via email or social media to negotiate and secure backlinks, guest posts, and brand mentions. Manage the entire process from initial contact to link placement, and maintain a log of outreach activities and relationships. Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of published content (rankings, traffic) and the status of backlinks. Use data insights to refine content topics and outreach strategies. Requirements:Excellent Writing Skills: Native or near-native proficiency in English with a strong portfolio of original written work (samples required). SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and the importance of backlinks in search engine algorithms. Outreach & Communication Skills: Strong written communication and persuasion skills; comfortable with "cold" outreach and building professional relationships online. Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. Preferred: Previous experience in content writing for [Your Industry] or a proven track record in successful link-building campaigns.
