Cloud Service Development Engineer (OpenStack)

What you will do

• Customize and extend OpenStack platforms to meet specific business requirements.
• Design and develop web applications for cloud service monitoring and management.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs to expose cloud services to third-party applications.
• Integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure and ensure seamless interoperability.
• Monitor and analyze system performance to resolve bottlenecks.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in cloud computing and software development.
• Strong proficiency with OpenStack platforms.
• Expertise in Python, Ruby, or JavaScript and modern web frameworks.
• Experience working with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of network protocols, security concepts, and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• OpenStack Certified Professional certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices (Git, Jenkins, Docker).
• Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
