What you will do

• Investigate alerts and manage incidents as part of the Security Operations Center.
• Build and refine detection signatures across the security toolset.
• Perform data-driven threat hunting and triage vulnerabilities.
• Streamline workflows and manage security tool configurations.
• Communicate findings and contribute to cyber transformation projects.

Requirements

• Must have the right to lawfully work and live in Australia
• 2+ years of experience in a SOC or Security Analyst role.
• Proficiency in SIEM platform management and scripting/automation.
• Strong technical report writing skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience in networking fundamentals.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Industry certifications like OSCP, Security+, or GSEC.
• Experience with EDR or network protection solutions.
