What you will do

• Lead the monitoring, analysis, and response to security incidents using SIEM and EDR capabilities within CrowdStrike.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex security incidents, coordinating investigation, containment, and recovery activities.
• Enforce information security policies and standards aligned with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials+, and GDPR.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation coordination across internal and cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to build security operational maturity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices into infrastructure and project workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Security Operations, SecOps, or SOC roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM detection engineering, EDR operations, and vulnerability management.
• Experience in at least two of the following: Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD security integration, or IAM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead major incidents and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess security patterns, anomalies, and root causes.
• Must be based in Australia.

Nice to have

• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CISM, or CISSP.
• Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
