What you will do

• Develop and refine trading and market-making strategies to transform opportunities into profit.
• Build and support low-latency systems for 24/7 automated trading and monitoring.
• Develop high-performance C++ and Python applications for market data and order execution.
• Collaborate across business, development, and trading teams to enhance system architecture.
• Monitor strategy performance and ensure technical, risk, and profit targets are met.
• Engage in system design, code reviews, and brainstorming trading ideas.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US or a US-compatible timezone.
• At least 3 years of experience developing clean, performant C++ code on Linux.
• Proven experience in high-performance trading strategies and market making.
• Experience with latency-optimized, distributed systems handling high transaction volumes.
• Ability to balance clean, testable code with rapid feature deployment.
• Willingness to be on-call to support developed systems.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of network programming (UDP, TCP, TLS, Websockets).
• Experience with profiling tools like Cachegrind or Valgrind.
• Experience with Linux machine configuration and monitoring.
• Knowledge of shared memory inter-process messaging.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
