What you will do
- Design high-level system architecture for global data dissemination.
- Optimize CPU cache usage and data encoding to maximize bandwidth efficiency.
- Implement kernel bypass techniques to enhance low-latency network performance.
- Develop and maintain connectivity to existing and new trading venues.
- Prioritize team tasks and manage project workflows within the company.
- Mentor and support the growth of engineering team members.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the UK or Europe
- Strong experience in low-level C++ development and multithreading.
- Expertise in network programming, kernel bypass, and protocols including Websockets, HTTP, TCP, UDP, and IP.
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, hardware architecture, CPU, memory, and NUMA.
- Solid knowledge of lockless shared memory data structures.
- Strong market data domain expertise, preferably in crypto or TradFi.
