What you will do

• Contribute to the design and architecture of backend features for the Machine Identity Security platform.
• Develop and maintain scalable services and APIs using Golang and Java.
• Build integrations and tooling including SDKs and system-to-system interfaces.
• Design and maintain distributed systems for high-scale platform operations.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed services.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support platform reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and/or Java.
• Experience building scalable backend or distributed systems.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and modern cloud-native architectures.

Nice to have

• Exposure to certificate lifecycle management, PKI, or identity platforms.
• Interest in AI-driven or intelligent system integrations.
• Experience developing SDKs or platform integrations using Terraform or Ansible.
