HR Generalist (Medtech)

TL;DR

HR Generalist (Medtech): Managing the people operations and full-cycle recruitment for the Taiwan office with an accent on compliance with the Labor Standards Act and building local company culture. Focus on onboarding, employee relations, and acting as a strategic bridge between the local team and global headquarters.

Location: Must be based in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in the office.

Salary: 1.5M TWD - 1.75M TWD

What you will do

• Manage Taiwan HR operations including compliance with the Labor Standards Act, benefits, and pension contributions.
• Lead the end-to-end local recruitment process from sourcing on platforms like 104 and CakeResume to interviewing.
• Own the onboarding experience for new hires to ensure smooth cultural and operational integration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and resolve local interpersonal or management issues.
• Maintain accurate employee records in WorkDay and ensure data privacy compliance.
• Serve as a cultural bridge by adapting global HR initiatives to the Taiwanese professional context.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of HR experience in Taiwan, specifically supporting engineering-related recruitment.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience working in an international company, ideally with a US headquarters.
• Proficiency with HRIS tools such as WorkDay, CultureAmp, and Greenhouse.
• Solid understanding of the Taiwan Labor Standards Act and Occupational Safety and Health Act.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
