Senior Automation Engineer (QA): Maintaining and advancing test infrastructure for the Trust Protection Foundation platform with an accent on Python-based automation frameworks and API testing. Focus on collaborating within Agile teams to tighten acceptance criteria, optimize test coverage, and ensure high system reliability.

Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid, 2 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Maintain and evolve test infrastructure to support continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with Agile product teams to define and refine acceptance criteria.
• Plan and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies.
• Challenge and improve existing test coverage to ensure product quality.
• Review test plans during sprints to enhance confidence in product releases.
• Participate in periodic on-call rotations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant QA automation experience.
• Must have: Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of API testing and traffic troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global engineering teams.
• Ability to drive tasks independently to completion.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of PKI, security principles, or security software experience.
• Experience with Linux, SQL, and Cloud providers (AWS, Azure) or vSphere/VMware.
• Familiarity with PowerShell and Selenium.
