What you will do

  • Act as a Financial Crime Compliance SME to ensure regulatory requirements are assessed and embedded.
  • Lead and uplift elements of the AML/CTF Reform project, interpreting new legislative requirements.
  • Develop and implement controls, processes, and documentation to support compliance.
  • Provide input into group policies and standards, conducting gap analysis for the local AML/CTF program.
  • Oversee methodology and implementation of ML/TF risk assessments across customers, products, and channels.
  • Monitor and communicate impacts of new FCC legislation and regulatory expectations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Compliance or Risk Management within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in Australian AML/CTF regulations, risk, and control practices.
  • Deep knowledge of US, EU, and Australian sanctions regimes.
  • Solid understanding of the Australian regulatory environment.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver technical training to non-technical audiences.
  • Relevant AML/CTF qualifications such as CAMS or ICA.
