Platform Engineer

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (Azure/DevOps): Developing and automating a data platform infrastructure on Azure with an accent on CI/CD pipeline improvement, platform stability, and automation. Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, Netherlands with remote work within the country

Salary: €4,092–€6,895 per month based on 36 hours/week

What you will do

• Maintain and develop the Azure-based data platform infrastructure and automate deployment processes
• Design, improve, secure, and automate the CI/CD pipeline
• Coach team members on DevOps engineering, CI/CD, and SDLC practices
• Collaborate with data engineers to enable new data integrations
• Develop and automate new platform components to improve data accessibility

Requirements

• Location: Based in the Netherlands or able to work hybrid in Rotterdam
• Medior+ or Senior experience as a Platform Engineer
• Strong experience with Azure cloud and related certifications are a plus
• Programming skills in Python and Bash/PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and Terragrunt
• Knowledge of networking, security, and identity & access management
• English proficiency at least B1; Dutch fluency is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory
• Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or AZ-400
• Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and continuous learning
