What you will do

• Document the current Power BI environment, including workspaces, teams, end users, usage metrics, and dependencies on Gateway servers.
• Develop a plan to upgrade Power BI to the latest version and define a strategy for ongoing monthly updates.
• Design a migration plan for Gateway servers to a new data center, ensuring minimal impact on the production environment.
• Create a test and validation plan for the migration.
• Execute migration and upgrade of the production environment.
• Provide post-migration support and perform necessary adjustments, troubleshooting issues to ensure system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Power BI Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Service, Gateway configuration, and administration.
• Experience with Power BI migrations and upgrades.
• Strong understanding of Power BI architecture and dependencies.
• Ability to plan and execute migrations with minimal downtime.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data center or infrastructure migrations.
• Familiarity with governance, security, and access management in Power BI.
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization.
