Senior QA Engineer

What you will do

• Test one or several hirify.global products throughout the entire development lifecycle.
• Analyze software requirements and participate in the creation of product test strategies.
• Evaluate test results and maintain the defects database.
• Communicate with development teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Train and develop new team members.
• Participate in customer technical support processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software testing experience.
• Deep understanding of software development principles and the QA role.
• Experience developing test strategies, plans, and optimizing testing processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux, or Unix operating systems.
• Strong grasp of network technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP).
• English proficiency required for daily communication.
• Must be permanently located in Portugal.

Nice to have

• Experience working with SQL Server or Oracle Database.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Practical experience in test automation.
• Background in managing or developing a QA team.
