What you will do

• Design, configure, and administer Kong API Gateway solutions at an enterprise scale.
• Oversee API gateway operations, continuous monitoring, and technical support.
• Develop and implement secure API architectures including authentication and policy management.
• Integrate APIs with cloud platforms and ensure system interoperability.
• Perform performance optimization and complex troubleshooting for existing API platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in API Engineering and platform development.
• Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal (Portuguese/EU citizenship or valid work permit).
• Hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway.
• Deep understanding of enterprise-scale API architectures and middleware integration.
