What you will do

• Lead the technical implementation of enterprise solutions for insurance clients.
• Provide day-to-day technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews for development teams.
• Design and develop APIs, system integrations, and custom components on the Duck Creek platform.
• Translate architectural direction into practical technical designs and execution plans.
• Partner with client stakeholders to ensure alignment on progress, risks, and design decisions.
• Contribute to internal initiatives to enhance engineering standards, developer productivity, and reusable components.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of professional software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Must be based in the United States or Puerto Rico.
• Strong expertise in C# and the .NET platform.
• Hands-on experience implementing the Duck Creek platform or similar insurance policy administration systems.
• Proven track record leading development teams through complex system implementations.
• Experience designing and developing robust APIs and enterprise integrations within cloud environments like Azure.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
• Familiarity with Agile software development practices.
• Interest in modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development and automation.
