Performance QA Engineer

TL;DR

Performance QA Engineer (Performance Testing): Designing and executing performance test scenarios to ensure system reliability and efficiency with an accent on database load analysis and performance metrics. Focus on identifying bottlenecks, creating actionable reports, and collaborating within a full SDLC Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Ukraine (Lviv office available for hybrid work)

What you will do

• Define and analyze performance-related requirements for complex software projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated performance test scenarios and frameworks.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify system bottlenecks.
• Provide clear and actionable reports to stakeholders regarding system health.
• Ensure high visibility and transparent communication of testing progress within the team.
• Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in performance testing.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter and performance test frameworks.
• Strong background in database performance testing, including load analysis and query optimization.
• Proficiency in working with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, proactively seek clarifications, and escalate issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring tools for load analysis.
• Experience with various database types like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL.
