TL;DR

Location: Must be based in the Greater Munich area and able to work on-site in Feldkirchen 2-3 days per week.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain application and embedded software for patient monitoring devices.
• Ensure compliance with the IEC 62304 standard throughout the development lifecycle.
• Create comprehensive product requirements and contribute to software architecture and design.
• Conduct rigorous verification and validation activities according to medical industry standards.
• Maintain high code quality using version control, CI, and automated testing practices.
• Collaborate within agile teams to iterate on features and improvements.

Requirements

• Relevant degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or medical engineering.
• Several years of professional software development experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or newer).
• Solid background in Linux development.
• Good understanding of Python.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and distributed middleware like ZeroMQ.
• Experience with Qt and QML for GUI development.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• Experience with ARM-based SoCs such as i.MX8.
• Interest in test automation using frameworks like Robot Framework.
