What you will do

• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse.
• Implement complex logic to convert time-based drilling sensor data into depth-based datasets.
• Develop ingestion frameworks for diverse drilling data formats from multiple vendors.
• Ensure data quality, availability, and consistency through automated validation and pipeline optimization.
• Lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Continuously improve software development practices for robust and reliable systems.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Colombia with hybrid work mode
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and big data technologies like Spark.
• Advanced SQL and Python programming skills, including PySpark or Pandas.
• Experience with data lake storage, ETL/ELT patterns, and data security practices in cloud environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex data transformations.
