Mid Data Engineer

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the migration of data from Snowflake on AWS to Azure Databricks and DBT.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and transformations to ensure reliable data processing during and after migration.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to support cloud data platforms and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and platform integrations while maintaining proper documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering working with modern cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and DBT in production environments
• Strong experience implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Experience supporting cloud-to-cloud data migration projects and platform integrations
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and ETL or ELT data pipeline development

Nice to have

• Experience working with CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control systems
• Familiarity with data governance concepts such as cataloging, lineage, monitoring, and data quality practices
• Exposure to streaming data technologies such as Kafka, Event Hubs, or Delta Live Tables
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in collaborative technical environments
