TL;DR

Founding Engineer (iOS/Swift): Own and scale hirify.global's iOS application, enhancing architecture, performance, and AI-powered mobile features with an accent on real-time audio processing and robust app lifecycle management. Focus on designing and shipping a best-in-class mobile product with strong ownership of testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Munich office, hybrid work format

hirify.global is a Munich-based startup building a personal AI assistant for field sales teams, trusted by leading European businesses and compliant with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

What you will do

Own the iOS platform including architecture, performance, reliability, and release pipeline.
Scale and evolve the existing Swift/SwiftUI app to improve architecture and performance.
Build real-time audio pipelines, WebSocket connections, and background processing.
Ship AI-powered mobile experiences such as meeting summaries and CRM integrations.
Establish testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines from scratch.

Requirements

Must have 3-5 years of production iOS development experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
Strong computer science fundamentals from a top-tier university.
Deep understanding of iOS platform APIs including concurrency, networking, audio frameworks, and app lifecycle.
Experience architecting iOS apps from the ground up and shipping complex features end-to-end.
Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and system design.

Nice to have

Experience with web or backend development (Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB).
Previous CTO, tech lead, or founding engineer role.
Experience scaling and hardening iOS codebases.
Familiarity with real-time audio processing or WebSocket architectures on iOS.
Knowledge of snapshot testing tooling and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Experience building or scaling own product (side project, startup, open-source).
