What you will do

• Lead one or more software development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable features for existing and new products.
• Design complex software systems, including microservices, APIs, and data models ensuring security and resilience.
• Collaborate with product management to define roadmap requirements, technical scope, and effort estimations.
• Hands-on coding of critical platform components and evaluation of new technologies for software development.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams including QA, Operations, and Product Owners to ensure smooth delivery.
• Work with DevOps to maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure environments in Azure.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in the New York office (8 days/month).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in information technology with at least 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and REST API design.
• Strong design skills including software design patterns, architecture patterns, and data modeling.
• Experience managing mission-critical production applications and understanding of Information Security principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related major.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with SAFe or advanced Agile methodologies.
• Practical experience with AI-powered coding assistants.
