TL;DR

HR Business Partner (People Partner): Implementing people strategy and scaling HR initiatives with an accent on performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Focus on building strong, high-performing teams, optimizing internal HR processes, and leveraging modern HR technology to support business growth.

Location: Must be based in the Netherlands with a hybrid requirement to be in the Amsterdam office approximately two days per week.

What you will do

  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on performance management, feedback, engagement, and team development.
  • Translate people strategy into practical HR frameworks, tools, and processes.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving retention and performance.
  • Coach and guide managers in strengthening their leadership and people management capabilities.
  • Develop and implement learning and development paths across the organization.
  • Explore and integrate AI and modern HR technologies to scale operations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in an HR advisory or HR Business Partner role.
  • Proficiency in Dutch is a must-have.
  • Proven track record of supporting managers on engagement, performance, and change management.
  • Solid understanding of Dutch labour law and HR compliance.
  • Hands-on mindset with experience in a fast-paced or scale-up environment.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with data-driven HR practices and insights.
  • Curiosity and interest in using AI tools for HR process efficiency.
