Location: Must be based in the US (preference for East Coast locations including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, or North Carolina)

Salary: $219,100 – $301,300 USD

What you will do

• Partner with sales teams to drive technical adoption and solve complex business problems.
• Consult on big data architecture and execute strategic proof of concepts for key customers.
• Validate integrations between the platform and existing cloud or third-party ecosystems.
• Develop and present reference architectures and application demonstrations.
• Advocate for open source projects like Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow within the developer community.
• Travel to client sites as required within the assigned territory.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role.
• Proven expertise in big data technologies, data engineering, and analytics.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems on public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong background in data warehousing (OLTP/OLAP/DSS) and data engineering tools.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering field.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Global System Integrators or financial services data providers.
• Strong background in AI and machine learning workflows.
• Active presence in technical communities, meetups, or webinars.
