What you will do

• Design and maintain data center network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, vLAN, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Configure and manage software defined networking (SDN) and virtual network tools like NSX for bare-metal and virtual environments.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive recovery and re-design solutions.
• Develop custom scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning and increase operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict security, backup, and redundancy strategies while maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.
• Provide 4th level support and knowledge transfer to government staff through training and best practice guidance.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI Clearance is required with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and support for data centers.
• Expertise in data center environments, SDN, and virtualization technologies.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50+ lbs in team environments.
• Strong background in network security, system management tools, and automated provisioning.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Experience with infrastructure as a service (IaaS) integrations.
