Location: Must be based in Tokyo, Japan with onsite client requirements up to 3 days per week.

What you will do

• Maintain ownership of assigned customer accounts acting as a trusted security advisor.
• Execute sophisticated threat hunting operations and conduct deep research into dark web data.
• Deliver high-impact customer presentations detailing intelligence reports and hunting findings.
• Respond to ad-hoc customer requests for information and strategic support.
• Collaborate with internal hirify.global teams to refine threat hunting methodologies and research projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in threat hunting, incident response, cyber threat intelligence, or dark web monitoring.
• Fluency in Japanese (native/professional) and English.
• Strong background in presenting reports to diverse stakeholders ranging from technical staff to executives.
• Experience investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Ability to travel on short notice (up to 5% of the time).
• Must be able to commute to the client site in Tokyo.
