What you will do

• Oversee, measure and audit the accuracy and timeliness of hirify.global’s global Customs brokers in the US & Canada, with occasional support provided to hirify.global’s UK, German and Australian markets.
• Conduct regular audits of hirify.global’s import data and duty payments, utilizing CBP’s ACE and CBSA’s CARM portals.
• Assign global Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) Classifications for hirify.global’s new SKUs and product lines.
• Maintain timely and complete Customs recordkeeping for hirify.global’s global imports and exports.
• Assist in the creation and continuous improvement of hirify.global’s global trade compliance SOPs and policies.
• Proactively monitor and raise new trade compliance developments that have the potential to impact the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience working for an importer, Customs broker and/or trade consultancy.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Customs regulations (including recent US tariff stacking rules), the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and CBP’s duty drawback and value reconciliation programs.
• Excellent written & verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work cross functionally across a variety of internal stakeholders, external service providers and global teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.

Nice to have

• Customs Broker License is a plus.
• Experience with ThomsonReuters ONESOURCE GTM is a plus.
• Proficient in Google Suite & Microsoft Excel
