What you will do

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend services and cloud-native solutions using Java or Python within AWS environments.
• Define system architecture, including APIs, service boundaries, data flows, and persistence layers to support scalable and reliable platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate product needs into robust technical solutions.
• Ensure system reliability and performance by implementing monitoring, automated testing, and continuous improvements across the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in backend software development using Java and/or Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency creating and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience working with AWS Cognito for authentication and identity management.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills in cross-functional teams.
