Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: Remote from Estonia; occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable and available services.
• Build and maintain back-end applications, front-end internal tools, and messaging supply platform features.
• Develop supplier interfaces, automate manual tasks, and support internal and customer-facing applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, engineering managers, and engineers.
• Write unit, integration, and load tests and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues independently and determine solutions within the team’s domain.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, testing, and DevOps standards.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, web stack, and framework.
• Strong written and spoken English for discussing ideas and implementation details with teammates and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Dropwizard.
• Experience with React or another web development framework.
• Understanding of DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Docker, Kubernetes, or technical documentation.
