What you will do

• Design and develop innovative, scalable solutions to drive business outcomes.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud migration, and test-driven development processes.
• Maintain high code quality through peer code reviews and consistent design patterns.
• Collaborate within a SCRUM team on analysis and development strategies.
• Provide 24/7 rotational support for production systems.
• Ensure adherence to security and corporate policies.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with RESTful architecture, microservices, and database systems like Spanner, NoSQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and messaging middleware such as Kafka or SQS.
• Sound understanding of object-oriented design and application design patterns.
• Strong communication skills in English, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud services.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and monitoring/alerting tools.
• Background in the retail industry.
