What you will do

• Develop AI solutions for Prime Video Search systems using Deep Learning, GenAI, Reinforcement Learning, and optimization methods.
• Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and create roadmaps and plans for delivering business goals.
• Lead cross-team collaboration and work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design and conduct offline and online (A/B) experiments to evaluate proposed solutions based on in-depth data analyses.
• Communicate technical and non-technical ideas with teammates and stakeholders.
• Mentor and grow junior scientists and interns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
