What you will do

• Provide Level 2/3 application support for card transaction processing systems.
• Monitor application health, transaction throughput, and system performance using observability tools.
• Configure and maintain alerting rules and dashboards to enable proactive issue detection.
• Develop and maintain Shell and Perl scripts for operational automation.
• Manage and troubleshoot batch processing jobs, end-of-day settlement routines, and transaction posting procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and infrastructure teams during production incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on expertise in Shell and Perl scripting on Linux/Unix/AIX operating systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of card switching systems, payment processing flows, or financial messaging standards.
• Experience with Oracle Tuxedo and/or Oracle WebLogic in a production support capacity.
• Experience working in a client-facing role within banking or fintech.
