What you will do

• Suggest, plan and implement improvements to code structure and architecture for testability and maintainability.
• Develop high-performance, fault-tolerant, and scalable code used by millions of users worldwide.
• Extend and enhance monitoring, alerting, and CI/CD systems.
• Collaborate on architectural decisions to evolve cloud-native microservices.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within the encoding service.

Requirements

• Must be based in Vienna or Klagenfurt, or willing to relocate/commute regularly.
• Strong experience with Java/Kotlin and cloud-native microservice architectures.
• Deep knowledge of software craftsmanship, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Proficiency in English required for daily communication.
• Experience with automated testing and architectural design.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack.
