What you will do

• Provide architectural leadership for system design, technology selection, and application modernization.
• Establish and govern standards for design patterns, coding guidelines, and cloud best practices.
• Validate HLD, LLD, API specs, and data models across development teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business goals and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and implement opportunities to embed AI, LLMs, and ML models into application workflows.
• Design AI-ready architecture patterns, including vector databases and event-driven pipelines.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in architecture or technical strategy.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and designing distributed cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of microservices, DDD, CQRS, and API-first design.
• Must be based in Brisbane and work onsite 5 days a week.
• Must have existing work authorization for Australia; sponsorship is not provided.
