What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Azure and Databricks-based data solutions.
• Define architecture, best practices, and governance frameworks for data platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of cloud data platforms.
• Oversee implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in architecting and delivering Azure/Databricks solutions.
• Expertise in Azure services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory).
• Strong understanding of Databricks, Delta Lake, and Apache Spark.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, or SQL for data engineering.
• Experience with cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Australian Citizenship is mandatory due to project requirements.
• Baseline or NV1 Security clearance is highly desirable (or ability to obtain).
