What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality Java back-end services and APIs.
• Lead and contribute to code reviews ensuring quality and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their growth.
• Drive improvements in engineering processes, tooling, and practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Platform Engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Java Engineer.
• Deep expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot framework.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and distributed systems including microservices and serverless.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS and cloud native technologies.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and observability tooling.
• Knowledge of security best practices in API development.
• Exposure to frontend technologies like Vue.js or Angular.
