Android Developer (Kotlin)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with a balance between office and home working

What you will do

• Build intuitive, fast, and reliable Android experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Contribute to app architecture, tooling, and technical decisions.
• Monitor performance, analyze bottlenecks, and improve app stability and speed.
• Collaborate with designers, stakeholders, and teammates to create useful mobile experiences.
• Use CI/CD and automation to deliver high-quality code.
• Share knowledge and continuously improve engineering practices.

Requirements

• Technical BSc or MSc, such as Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of experience building large-scale Android applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of SOLID principles.
• Experience with automated testing, code reviews, and maintaining high code quality.
• Experience working in Scrum teams and following agile practices.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have

• TDD or BDD experience.
