What you will do

• Translate real-world control problems into optimization models to minimize energy bills.
• Develop and improve forecasting and decision-support models for home energy devices.
• Design and run experiments on customer systems and turn insights into product decisions.
• Collaborate with teams to bring models into production and maintain ML systems.
• Lead projects end-to-end, aligning stakeholders and delivering outcomes despite ambiguity.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Must be located in or near Stockholm, Sweden with hybrid work arrangement
• Several years of experience in data science, optimization, or applied machine learning roles.
• Strong skills in mathematical and statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Software engineering fundamentals for deploying and maintaining ML systems in production.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on real-world impact over model complexity.

Nice to have

• Experience with constrained optimization and energy systems or electricity markets.
• Knowledge of control systems or physical systems modeling.
